Vintage Coxcomb Rose Quilt

This pretty applique quilt is a Coxcombe Rose in a Flower Pot - not sure if that is the actual name - but that is what it looks like!  Vintage fabrics from the 1930's and 1940's make up this pretty quilt in shades of red, pink, yellow and green.  The whole quilt is hand-appliqued and hand-quilted.  There are small faded age marks as well as a couple of tears on the back - which does not affect the front of the quilt. This is a special early piece of American hand-work.
