Old Workwear Quilt

This beautiful muted quilt is made out of old workwear material - lots of woven ginghams, stripes and plaids.  Each block is set on a cream muslin background. Hand-pieced and quilted, this is a thick quilt that was made to keep someone warm. The binding and backing are muslin. The binding is shattered and torn in many areas.  Some of the muslin on the front of the quilt is also torn - showing years of a well-loved quilt. This could be a cutter quilt and make a wonderful, warm quilted jacket.
