Antique Basket Quilt

This antique Basket Quilt is made out of a mix of early calicos and florals from the 1920's and 30's. This quilt is hand-sewn and hand-quilted with a machine sewn binding. The batting is thin and the backing is a colorful calico of blues and reds. There is some damage to some areas - but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some tender loving care.

Provenance: This quilt has come to us through a private collection - there are at least another 100 wonderful old quilts to come! Merci Judy!
