Antique Four Patch Quilt

This antique Four Patch Quilt is made out of early calicos in shades of brown, grey and black with a pretty red ditsy floral block in between each 4-patch block. This quilt is all hand-pieced with machine-quilting and has a very very thin batting - almost nothing. Great study for older American fabrics.
