Exploring Craft, Textiles and Food in France with French General

Spend a week in France with one of our favorite artists, Suzette Smart. A wandering stitcher, Suzette creates beautiful, layered works of art from needle and thread. You will be inspired by her use of color and materials and how something new always seems to be hidden in her work - a true textile storyteller!

Our home for the week is surrounded by 10 acres of garden and countryside - just an hour and a half north of Toulouse- the perfect place to relax in one of the many elegant rooms, or sit by the pool and enjoy a glass of local wine. 

Chef Charlotte Clement keeps us well fed as well as teaches us her fabulous French cooking techniques. We are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

You are welcome to join in all of the activities or take time out at the manor to find your inner French woman.

Air travel is in and out of the Toulouse Airport, where we pick up on the arrival day at 3pm and drop off on the departure day at 9am.

Costs

Superior Single (large bedroom, on ground floor or second floor of main house or farmhouse; private bath) $5,800 per person

Superior Shared (large bedroom on second or third floor of main house or farmhouse; private bath) $5,400 per person (please sign up with a roommate)

Deluxe Single (smaller bedroom on third floor of main house; private bath) $5,600 per person

Deluxe Single/Shared Bath (private bedrooms with a shared bath) $5,600 per person (please sign up with a sister, daughter, mother or friend)

Payment Plan:

Non-refundable deposit of $750 due upon registration
Second deposit due January 15th, 2024
Final deposit due April 15th, 2024

Air transportation to and from France and travel insurance are not included
