Box of Antique French Linen - Limited Quantities!

A box full of old French linen, hemp, nettle and damask household cloths, napkins and scraps. Found in France in the old armoires, these household cloths are unwashed - which will give you the perfect opportunity to learn how to be a French laundress!

Early French scraps include finished pieces and parts of pieces - all of these old cloths are dirty and unwashed - exactly as we found them in the armoires of very old homes. Many pieces are monogrammed with small cross stitch letters or numbers.

Some scraps have holes and can be cut up and repurposed. Some scraps will wash up beautifully and some won’t - this is a mixed box of very early French household cloth.

Approximately 5 pounds per box - including early linen, hemp and cotton or Métis.
