Antique Linen Torchon - MC Monogram

Beautiful, old, creamy linen household towels used throughout the 18th and 19th centuries in France. Soft but durable, these towels will last forever with the proper care. Some towels may need washing as these are right out of an old armoire from a very large house in Southwest France.

Stitch on a small twill loop for hanging.

To clean hemp, linen or nettle wash in your washing machine with soap and warm water. Once removed from washing machine, snap out any wrinkles. Hang to dry and then press with a hot iron. The more these fibers are washed, the softer they become.
