Antique Silk Holder B

Beautiful old antique silk glove or hankie holder. Very old design of a young girl embroidered on the front of the holder. Very fragile condition - some of the silk is splitting and fraying. Some stitches are missing from the embroidery - including the girls face. This is a wonderful example of French embroidery and shows the amount of detail they put into their finest objects.
