Napoleon III Linen Damask PM Towels
Antique linen damask napkins or towels with red embroidered PM monogram. These unused textiles were found in a castle in the South of France and have never been used. They were stored in an armoire from the mid-1800's.
Elegant and fine, these towels are in almost perfect condition, although some do have the markings of the initial transfer - which I think will wash out.
Our brocante textiles are old and many have been used for years by a rural Frenchwoman. Spot treat with a stain remover spray, wash in machine with warm water, hang to dry and press with a hot iron.
These textiles are considered vintage and if treated right, they will last a lifetime.
