Day two is learning about surface design, pattern and print. Working with printing blocks, students will have the opportunity to design their own yardage on linen and cotton. Screen printing on textiles will be explained as well as an opportunity for everyone to pull a design onto a tote bag.
Our two day creative workshop gathers at Saddlerock Gardens located deep in the heart of the Malibu Hills. These two days at Saddlerock Garden will be an introduction to the world of colored and printed textiles and to give students an opportunity to design their own sample fabrics to create with. We hope you will join us for this very special workshop.
Vegetarian lunch will be served both days in the garden.
