La Vie en Rose Winter Stitch Kit and Zoom Workshops / Pre-Order Ships February 2024

Our 2024 Winter Stitch Kit, La Vie en Rose, is a memory project. Our slow stitch kit features our new collection, Antoinette, as well as lots of antique pink, rose, blush and terra cotta colors. The base of this kit is a linen scroll and an old wooden spindle for winding. Scrolls will differ slightly in size based on the size of the spindle.

La Vie en Rose will tell a story - you can choose to tell your story or you can make up a beautiful story using vintage photos. Using photos, copied onto fabric paper, we will slow stitch our way through the winter months, ending up with an heirloom scroll which will tell your story.

The kit includes lots of fun new techniques including: Hexiforms, Betty's Photo Fabric, Wonderfuse, and Stick and Stitch. There will be plenty of hand-sewing - including embroidery, hand-quilting, English paper piecing, and labeling. We will embellish our scrolls with beautiful threads, including shades of pink Valdani, Cosmo and Wonderfil.

Start collecting your scraps, lace, old buttons and photos to add into your project. I've gathered my favorite photos of my grandparents, family, my garden, favorite places and friends to print onto the photo fabric provided.

Our Winter Stitch Kit will also include three Zoom Workshops which will cover all sorts of techniques to help fill your scroll. 

If you miss a workshop, no worries - all Zoom Workshops will be recorded and sent out the following week to be viewed at your leisure.

La Vie en Rose Stitch Kits will be shipped in February 2024 - anything ordered with the this kit will be shipped together in February. We do not split ship orders.

As with all of our stitch kits, we use lots of antique and vintage fabric. Kits will not all be the same and fabric will vary! Please do not be disappointed if your fabric is not identical to photo online. Thank you for understanding the nature of working with antique fabrics.
