Live Zoom Workshop: Rag Doll Finishing with Jess Brown / Sunday, January 31st / 11-2pm Pacific Time

We are excited to announce our new kit collaboration with Jess Brown!

These kits, designed by Jess and Kaari are a combination of a classic doll design from Jess and some colorful threads from Kaari.  

Join us for a LIVE ZOOM video with Jess Brown on Sunday, January 31st from 11-2pm Pacific Time. 

During the course of this three hour Finishing Workshop, Jess Brown will share her creative process and the sewing style and techniques she has used to make her heirloom quality rag dolls.

This workshop is geared towards the finishing touches of the Rag Doll - suited for students who have already made the rag doll once they receive their kit.  The Rag Doll can be hand stitched or sewn on your machine.

The finishing touches are where each dolls true character comes out - Jess will teach you how to stitch the eyes, attach the hair and sew up the sundress. 

A Jess Brown Doll Kit will be sent to you upon registration which includes:

Cotton Doll Pattern

Fabric for Dress, Apron and Tote

Embellishments

Wool Stuffing

Doll Needle

Chopstick

Embroidery Needle

Floss

Sewing Thread

Wool Felt for Mouth and Hair

Printed Instructions

Other materials you will need:

Sewing Machine (optional) 

Fabric Scissors

Pencil

Awl or Snips to make small holes

Choose between a Shades of Red or a Shades of Blue Doll Kit - or let us choose our favorite one for you!  Just leave a comment on your color choice when checking out in the comments box.
