Sewn by anonymous hands, each quilt reflects a time when necessity and artistry were deeply intertwined. Made from worn clothing, feed sacks, and cherished fabrics, these works carry the rhythms of everyday life—family, labor, hope, and love—stitched into every seam.

Though their makers remain unknown, their presence is unmistakable. The quilts reveal regional traditions, inventive patterning, and the personal decisions of individual quilters who transformed humble materials into objects of warmth and beauty. More than functional textiles, these quilts are enduring expressions of devotion—sewn with patience, purpose, and love held firmly in the hands that made them.

We do the best of our ability to describe each quilt's condition and age. It has great color, brightness and is visually stunning! Measuring 68" x 84" this quilt is in pretty good shape - although it has seen it's years of use. 80 8" log cabin blocks each with the center red hearth and all in good shape save for a small tear here or there. There is fraying throughout the binding. This quilt is hand pieced and hand sewn with a medium weight cotton batting. The backing is a fresh stripe - dating back to the early 1900's. Well worn and soft - this quilt could be a cutter or used gently on a bed.

Measurements: 68" x 84"

Circa Early 1900's

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0372/9017/products/image_811de918-bbff-4405-ae60-78101b21e897.jpg?v=1677977453
vintage-8-pointed-star-quilt-cutter
Vintage 8-Pointed Star Quilt - Cutter?

Beautiful antique 8-pointed Star pattern hand - stitched quilt in heavily used condition.
